REPORT: Dolphins Fear Ryan Tannehill Will Need Season-Ending Knee Surgery
Earlier on Thursday, Ryan Tannehill was forced to leave practice early after he rolled out of the pocket and fell awkwardly to the ground with no contact. Everyone immediately had a sick feeling in their stomach.
Those fears were confirmed when ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the team is afraid he may actually need season ending knee surgery.

“He’s done, I think,” one source predicted Thursday night, referring to Tannehill’s hopes of returning this season. One source said Thursday that, because Tannehill did not repair his partially torn ACL during the offseason, his knee was “a ticking time bomb that was going to go off at any time.”
