Browns Release Sad Brock Osweiler Hype Video, Get Ruthlessly Mocked on Twitter (Video + Tweets)

The Cleveland Browns acquired quarterback Brock Osweiler and his $72 million contract just prior to the NFL Draft in March. It was obvious at the time that the Browns were just trying to use their excessive cap space to load up on picks, and everyone assumed they had no real interest in Osweiler being their latest starting quarterback.

Apparently everybody was wrong, though. On Monday, not only did the Cleveland Browns announce that Brock Osweiler will start their first pre-season game, they also released a Brock Osweiler hype video.

Stop laughing. This is not a joke. The Browns released a rock ‘n’ roll themed Brock Osweiler hype video…consisting entirely of Osweiler throwing short checkdown passes at Browns training camp.

Honestly, you’ve got to see it to believe it:

Look, I’ve got nothing against Brock Osweiler. I hope he does well in Cleveland and proves the haters wrong. I really do. But this hype video? It’s just about the saddest thing I’ve ever seen. I don’t know who’s running the Browns social media, but they need to be fired right now.

Twitter agrees:

Cleveland may not win a game this year, but Twitter is still undefeated.
