J.A. Adande Leaving ESPN After 10 Years To Focus On Teaching At Northwestern
It was just a few months ago when ESPN saw heavy layoffs from the company that included some top names. You can now add J.A. Adande to that list of departed ESPN staffers, but the only difference is he’s leaving on his own terms.
Adande, who joined the company full-time in 2007 after leaving the Los Angeles Times, will focus on his role as a professor and Director of Sports Journalism at Northwestern University, a job that he accepted last year.
Most will remember Adade for his many appearances on ‘Around The Horn’, and he eventually expanded his role to include sideline reporting on NBA broadcasts.
