BREAKING: Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cut 2016 2nd-Round Pick Kicker Roberto Aguayo
What a sad turn of events.
Last year, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers traded two picks to move up and select kicker Roberto Aguayo in the second round of the 2016 NFL draft. It didn’t take them long to realize how big a mistake that was.
He missed kicks in the preseason, got boo’d off the practice field, and missed yet another extra point last night in the team’s first preseason game of 2017.
On Saturday, he was cut.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have waived kicker Roberto Aguayo.

Pretty terrible for a guy who never missed a kick in college.
