Dahntay Jones Says Stephen Curry Is Not a Top-10 Player In The League

Golden State Warriors Victory Parade And Rally

Stephen Curry is not a top-10 NBA player in the league…At least, according to Dahntay Jones he’s not.

The Cleveland Cavaliers perennial bench player for the last two seasons believes Curry is around the 11th or 12th best, but definitely not top-10.

Per the Mickstape Show (via PBT):
“People get mad at me, because I don’t declare [Curry] a top-10 player in the NBA, which is fine.

“I’ve got him on the outside – like 11, 12.
“I need Klay [Thompson] to have Steph, and they both need Draymond [Green], because in my Draymond is the most important player on their team. They’re going to the Finals without [KD]. [Green] is the one you can’t replace.”
Curry is a two-time league MVP, first ever unanimous MVP, and he’s helped the Golden State Warriors get to their third straight NBA Finals while winning their second championship in three years.
Jones went on to name LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Kawhi Leonard as the three best players in the league.
