Lucky Whitehead Who Was Cut For False Arrest & Had Dog Kidnapped Is Out Indefinitely With A Broken Foot
Lucky Whitehead is possibly having the worst two months an athlete has ever had in recent memory.
Back in July, then a member of the Dallas Cowboys, Whitehead took to social media to state his dog, Lucky, had been kidnapped and was being held for ransom. He eventually paid the people who took it, got his dog back, and all was well.
Then, a report came out that Whitehead was arrested for shoplifting at a gas station, but cops later realized it was a case of mistaken identity. Sadly, the Dallas Cowboys decided to cut him anyway.
To make matters even worse, the New York Jets claimed him off waivers. He finally gets another shot…and then he breaks his foot, as reported by the Jets on Tuesday.
Bowles: WR Lucky Whitehead suffered broken foot. Whether surgery is required is TBD. Will be out for an extended period of time. https://t.co/ksmtFLl8RE
