Miami Dolphins CB Tony Lippett Tore His ACL & Is Out For The Season
The hits just keep on coming for the Dolphins.
Two weeks ago, the Miami Dolphins saw their season go up in flames after starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill went down with a non-contact injury. It was later revealed that he would need surgery to fix his ACL. At that point the team opted to sign retired QB Jay Cutler, who was set to start his broadcasting career.
Last week, the Dolphins 2nd-round draft pick, linebacker Raekwon McMillian, tore his ACL on the very first play of his NFL career and will miss his entire rookie campaign as a result.
This week, cornerback Tony Lippett saw his season end before it could even begin, as it was announced he tore his ACL.
#Dolphins CB Tony Lippett tore his Achilles tendon in practice Monday and is out for the season, coach Adam Gase told reporters.
