Eagles’ Chris Long Wraps Arm Around Malcolm Jenkins In Support of His Anthem Protest (PIC)
Chris Long just put not only the sports world, but the entire nation on notice.
The Philadelphia Eagles defensive end has long been an outspoken person with it comes to social/controversial issues or topics—most recently, he stood up for Colin Kaepernick when Michael Vick suggested he should cut his hair to repair his image.
On Thursday, just before the Eagles were set to take on the Buffalo Bills, Malcolm Jenkins continued to raise his right fist in protest over racial injustice during the national anthem. And Chris Long was right there, wrapping his left arm around his teammate in support of the movement and what he’s fighting for (or against).

Long played his college football at the University of Virginia, located in Charlottesville, the sight of unrest and violence that took place last week when White Supremacists and Neo-Nazis took to the streets to protest the removal of a confederate statue.
