Chicago Bulls’ Younger Players Reportedly ‘Can’t Stand’ Dwyane Wade (VIDEO)
Dwyane Wade signing with his hometown team was supposed to be a homecoming for the ages that would produce special things in the future.
Fast forward one year and the Bulls have absolutely demolished the squad after an up-and-down season. Jimmy Butler was traded, Rajon Rondo is gone, and now Wade is reportedly going to be bought out by the Bulls in the coming weeks.
Looks like that wasn’t the only thing to happen with the Bulls over the past year. Some of Wade’s current teammates reportedly can’t wait to see the veteran star make his exit, as they’ve grown tired of the future Hall of Famer.
“The young players on the Bulls really can’t stand Dwyane,” ESPN’s Nick Friedell said on “The Jump” on Tuesday. “It’s no secret in Chicago, they have had enough.”
Back in January, Wade and then-Bulls teammate Jimmy Butler publicly called out the younger players on the squad after Chicago lost seven of 11 games.
“You got to care enough, man,” Wade said at the time. “It’s got to mean that much to you to want to win.”
