The Kyrie Irving drama finally came to an end on Tuesday. The Cleveland Cavaliers officially traded the disgruntled point guard to the Boston Celtics for Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic, and the Nets’ 2018 first round draft pick.

The deal put an end to one of the most unlikely and surprising trade controversies in recent NBA history. Irving, who’d helped the Cavs reach three straight NBA Finals—winning one—shocked the NBA when he announced he wanted to break up the band.

Cavaliers fans were particularly upset. They felt betrayed, unable to comprehend why the guy would want to trash such a good thing. With the writing on the wall, and Irving pretty much guaranteed to be traded, many of them burned his jersey, as jilted fans do these days.

Now that Irving has actually been traded, though, some Cavs fans are trying to jump-start the healing process by taking the high road. One guy even posted a video of himself NOT burning Kyrie’s Cavs jersey and, instead, thanking him for everything he’s done in Cleveland.

Take a look:

That tweet caught the eye of LeBron James, who then fired off his own tweet expressing his approval:

Of course, it’s way easier to be magnanimous knowing the Cavs got such a great haul for Irving. But hey, take what you can get.
