Isaiah Thomas Probably Regrets This Old Tweet About LeBron, But Twitter Thinks It’s Hilarious (Tweets)
Back in 2010, when Isaiah Thomas was still just the starting point guard for the Washington Huskies, he fired off a hot take about LeBron James on Twitter that, as of right now, he probably regrets.
The tweet, which compared King James unfavorably to Kobe Bryant, came on May 13, 2010. For those of you who don’t possess encyclopedic knowledge of NBA stats, that’s the day the Boston Celtics eliminated LeBron and the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, a loss that ultimately prompted LeBron to take his talents to South Beach.
At time of writing, Thomas’ tweet was still live. However, here’s a screenshot just in case it winds up getting deleted in the coming days:
Fortunately, LeBron is a pretty cool dude, so he probably won’t hold a grudge. However, Twitter sure is enjoying giving Thomas a hard time.

Just think, before we had Twitter, nobody would remember the stupid things you said when you were younger!
Good luck in Cleveland, Isaiah.
