15-Year-Old NBA Academy Player Throws Down Epic Dunk from Free Throw Line (Video)

15-year-old kid dunks from free-throw line

I don’t remember a whole lot from when I was 15 years old. I seem to recall being obsessed with learning to drive, and girls, and not being seen in public with my parents. I’m also pretty sure I wasn’t dunking basketballs from beyond the free-throw line.

That is not the case for Efe Abogidi. He might be obsessed with learning to drive, and girls, and not being seen in public with his parents. But this 6’10” 15-year-old is definitely dunking basketballs from beyond the free-throw line.

Abogidi plays for NBA Academy Africa, a school for elite basketball prospects recruited from all over the continent. At a skills competition back in May, this kid won the slam dunk contest by doing his best Dominique Wilkins impression, throwing down a savage dunk from beyond the free-throw line.

Here’s the video. And again, please remember that THIS KIS IS 15 YEARS OLD:

I can’t wait until this kid plays one fantastic season at Kentucky three years from now before declaring for the draft and winding up with the Sacramento Kings.
