Cam Newton Rocks Some Ridiculous Donald Duck Slippers at Post-Game Presser (Pics)
Cam Newton is known for his avante-guard fashion sense. In fact, we’ve grown so accustomed to his goofy getups over the last few years that, sometimes, we barely notice. But it was pretty hard not to notice his interesting footwear following Sunday’s game.
After beating the Bills with a solid but boring Week 2 performance, Newton walked up to the podium and addressed the media in dark jeans, a sharp purple blazer, a fedora, blue-tinted old-timey spectacles, and a pair of silk slippers.

At first, it just seemed like the kind of eccentric but still-kinda-cool outfit Cam normally wears. However, upon further inspection, the internet realized those weren’t just any silk slippers.
Let’s enhance, shall we?
Yep, those babies have Donald Duck. And tigers made out of jewels.
One has to assume these slippers were custom made. Even if they sold things like this ready to wear, you’d have a pretty hard time finding them in size 14.
That said, if these are in fact custom made, the fact that Cam went with a tiger, his college mascot, and not a panther, his pro mascot, can only mean one thing: Cam wants out of Carolina!
