Jags Sign QB Ryan Nassib, Who Has Thrown 10 Passes in 4-Year NFL Career
With starting quarterback Blake Bortles headed for yet another terrible season—with more touchdowns thrown to the defense than his own players—the Jacksonville Jaguars are looking to bring some talent on to the roster to help them at the position.
On Monday, the team’s official website announced the signing of Ryan Nassib, a guy who has thrown just 10 passes in his 4-year NFL career. This move was likely made due to the fact that head coach Doug Marrone coached Nassib during their time together at Syracuse. Nassib was also on the Giants at the same time current Jags executive VP of football operations Tom Coughlin was head coach.
But 10 passes through four seasons is a tough pill to swallow when there’s a proven quarterback out there right now that could improve the team’s position drastically. Colin Kaepernick, maybe?
