Colts’ TY Hilton Says Losing To The Lowly Cleveland Browns ‘Can’t Happen, It Won’t Happen’
Not since the infamous ‘Suck for Luck’ season where the Indianapolis Colts went 2-14 has this franchise looked so bad just two weeks into the season.
The Colts own the NFL’s worst point differential and for the first time possibly in their history, they enter Week 3 as the underdog to the Cleveland Browns…at home! Those are the same Browns that could only manage one win last season. That’s how bad it has gotten in Indianapolis.
That underdog status to the Browns has star receiver TY Hilton making guarantees that the team will not lose their game this Sunday, no matter what.
“It can’t happen, it won’t happen,” receiver T.Y. Hilton said of the possibility of losing Sunday to Cleveland, ESPN’s Mike Wells reports.
Week 1 saw the team go down to the Los Angeles Rams and give up 46 points in the process. They followed that up with a 16-13 loss in OT to the Arizona Cardinals.
This 0-2 start is familiar territory for the franchise as they have started 0-2 for the past three seasons, making the playoffs just once. Only 12 percent of teams that begin 0-2 have gone on to make the playoffs since 1990, according to ESPN Stats & Information.
