Richard Sherman Says Trump’s ‘Behavior’ Is ‘Unacceptable,’ Must Be Condemned
After Donald Trump took multiple shots at all of the NFL players participating in national anthem protests, you knew the backlash would be swift. It took less than 24 hours for players to begin speaking out against his speech from Friday.
One of the most outspoken players in the league is Richard Sherman. He took to Twitter on Saturday and suggested that if you do not condemn the behavior of President Donald Trump, you are essentially condoning it.
The behavior of the President is unacceptable and needs to be addressed. If you do not Condemn this divisive Rhetoric you are Condoning it!!

He then responded to a fan who attempted to clap back at him, while mentioning Stephen Curry.
How is it any different than Tom Brady not going to the White House? Guess it’s only different when it’s convenient — Richard Sherman (@RSherman_25) September 23, 2017
At a rally Friday in Huntsville, Alalbama, Trump stated that NFL owners should remove any players from the field for disrespecting the “Star-Spangled Banner.”
So far, Commissioner Roger Goodell, NFL Players Association director DeMaurice Smith, and a host of NFL players have all spoken out against what was said during that rally.
