BREAKING: Both Seahawks & Titans Will Remain In Locker Room During National Anthem In Today’s Game
Just an hour before the Pittsburgh Steelers were set to take the field against the Chicago Bears, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin dropped a bombshell. He told reporters that no one on the team would be out on the field for the national anthem. Rather, they would stay in the locker room.
It looks like they won’t be the only teams to do it.
According to MMQB’s Albert Breer, both the Seattle Seahawks and the Tenneessee Titans will also not be a part of the national anthem before their game. Their decision was in response to what Donald Trump said on Friday.
I’m told that both the Seahawks and Titans are playing to stay in the locker room for the national anthem in Nashville today.
