Dolphins’ Michael Thomas Tears Up Talking About Trump Calling Him “A Son Of A B*tch” (VIDEO)
Friday evening in Alabama, Donald Trump unintentionally brought hundreds, if not thousands, of athletes together when he referred to players kneeling during the anthem as ‘sons of bitches’ and suggested they should be fired.
Every single team in the league had at least one player contribute to the anthem protests in some form. That included the Miami Dolphins’ Michael Thomas.
Immediately following their loss to the New York Jets on Sunday, the Dolphins safety started to break down and tear up when thinking about the example he wants to set for his daughter, and how Trump referred to players like him as ‘sons of bitches.’

“I’m not going to tell you my first thoughts,” Thomas said with a smile before collecting himself. It only took him a few sentences to get to his real thoughts.
“As somebody in the NFL who is one of those ‘sons of bitches,’ yeah I take it personally,” Thomas continued. “But it’s bigger than me. I’ve got a daughter. She’s going to have to live in this world. I’m going to do whatever I’ve got to do.”
