Wizards’ Bradley Beal Goes OFF On Trump: ‘To Me, You’re A Clown’

You can now add Bradley Beal to a long list of stars that have spoken out about Donald Trump’s recent comments.

During Media Day on Monday, the Washington Wizards star went absolutely off on the President for calling NFL players out for kneeling during the national anthem.

He also took issue with Trump withdrawing his invitation to the Golden State Warriors and personally calling out Stephen Curry.

“Honestly, that’s not a leader. For you to come out and, for one, disrespect the whole sport (NFL) that the whole world basically loves and call people names, S.O.B.’s, that’s out of pocket to me,” said Beal during Wizards Media Day on Monday, according to FOX Sports Radio. “You have guys who won a championship, and they have the freedom of deciding whether or not they want to go. When one man decides not to go, like how in the world can you just take an invite? Like that doesn’t make any sense to me.

“To me, you’re a clown. That’s unacceptable. That’s not what a leader does. Your job is supposed to bring everybody together. Everybody in the world feels like since you’ve been in office, that hasn’t been the case.”

“I voiced my opinion, just like everybody else did around the league, around different leagues, and around the social media world. If we can’t exercise our right to freedom of speech, what are the amendments for?” asked Beal. “You’re doing it, so why can’t we do it?

“There’s a lot of stuff I disagree with. At the end of the day, he’s the president. But at the same time, I don’t support anything that he represents.”

Over the weekend, Beal was just one of many that took to Twitter to voice their opinion on Trump’s remarks.
