Steven Seagal Says It’s ‘Outrageous’ & ‘Disgusting’ To See NFL Players Kneeling During Anthem (VIDEO)
This national anthem controversy has gained so much attention that even citizens of other countries are chiming in on the debate.
In this particular instance, it’s American actor Steven Seagal who made his feelings known all the way from Russia, where he was granted citizenship back in 2016.
The 65-year-old joined Piers Morgan on “Good Morning Britain” on a satellite feed from Russia. While speaking on the anthem protests, he let loose on all the players back in the USA who continue to kneel during the ‘Star Spangled Banner.’
“I believe in free speech. I believe that everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. But I don’t agree they should hold the United States of America and the world hostage by picking a venue where people are tuning in to watch a football game and imposing their political views.”
“I think it’s outrageous, I think it’s a joke. It’s disgusting.”
“I respect the American flag and I myself have risked my life countless times for the American flag and I don’t understand or agree with this kind of behavior. I think it’s an outrage.”
