Dez Bryant Says Cowboys Will Stand For Anthem On Sunday
After a Sunday filled with anthem protests during week 3, it appears as though there will be a different tone around the NFL during week four.
Some teams have already come out and stated that they will stand for the anthem this Sunday, and among them are the Dallas Cowboys.
Dez Bryant told the Dallas Morning News that the team will not repeat their pre-anthem kneeling from a week ago.
Here are Bryant’s comments, via the Dallas Morning News:
“We’re going to stand,” Bryant said. “We’re going to stand and put our hand over our heart and we’re going to do what we did before. Y’all know what that was, that was just a response to [President Donald] Trump. That’s all that was.”
From the sound of it, there won’t be nearly as much kneeling in week 4 as their was in week 3.
