Todd Gurley Pleaded With Rams Fans To Attend Sunday’s Game: ‘Please Come To Our Games’ (VIDEO)
Last season, the Los Angeles Rams had fans in the area optimistic about their direction as they stormed out of the gate with a 3-1 record. Unfortunately, those fans were quickly reminded that their team was still not very good, as they’d go on to win only one game for the rest of the year.
This season, the team is once again 3-1, but it feels much different than last year. They’ve scored 30-plus points in three of their four games this season, tying them for the most 30-point games in the NFL this season. Star running back Todd Gurley has back-to-back games of over 100 rushing yards after reaching that mark only once in his previous 26 games.
Much like the Chargers at the StubHub Center, the Rams are finding it difficult to get fans to come out and fill up the Los Angeles Coliseum during home games, which prompted Gurley to plead with the fan base to get them to come out this Sunday.
“Please come to our games! Please come to our games,” Gurley said during a media appearance this week. “Obviously I guess the Seahawks have had lots of success over the past few years so there’s a lot of Seahawks fans. So there will probably be a lot of Seahawks fans at the game. But that doesn’t matter. We’re just happy to have everybody come.”
