Florida Man Sets Himself On Fire After Cowboys Lose To The Packers
Most people in this country have a burning passion for football, whether its high school, college, or the NFL. But it usually never ends with them setting themselves on fire.
One genius from Florida (shocking, right?) wanted to show just how devoted he was to the Dallas Cowboys, but it ended up with him being rushed to the hospital where he’ll be recovering for months, if not years.
The 27-year-old Cowboys fanatic is recovering from severe burns to his body after lighting himself on fire after watching Sunday’s Cowboys-Packers game. It all stemmed from him losing a bet.
Via Sebastian Daily:
“At the hospital, deputies spoke with a couple who admitted they were watching the NFL game and agreed to burn the losing team’s jersey. However, the man decided to wear the jersey as it was burning.
A witness told Sebastian Daily, “He was set on fire after losing a bet on the Cowboys game … Skin was hanging off his arm and back.”
The man suffered third-degree burns on his right arm and right hand and second-degree burns to his back.
When the woman’s team won, her husband went outside to light his jersey on fire. He told deputies that he was drunk and tried to put the jersey on while it was burning.”
His undying passion for his favorite football team will more than likely leave him with a lifetime of scars and regret for doing something that was 100% avoidable.
