Roger Goodell’s Wife Has A Kevin Durant-Style Fake Twitter Account to Defend Her Husband
It was just a few weeks ago when Kevin Durant got exposed for having a secret Twitter and Instagram account to trash-talk his haters, who have had plenty to say about him. For KD, the accounts were just a way for him to return the favor without it becoming a headline nationwide.
Seems like he’s not the only one who thinks this way.
Roger Goodell’s wife, Jane Skinner Goodell, was recently caught using a fake Twitter account, and much like the Golden State Warriors star, she used it to trash talk her husband’s haters. And believe me, he has plenty.
Jane Skinner Goodell’s online alter ego, @forargument, has been used anytime someone in the media had anything to say about her hubby.
The Wall Street Journal discovered the account under the name “Jones Smith.” Mrs. Goodell confessed to being the author when asked about it:
“It was a REALLY silly thing to do and done out of frustration—and love.” Mrs. Goodell said in a written statement, per WSJ’s Andrew Beaton. “As a former media member, I’m always bothered when the coverage doesn’t provide a complete and accurate picture of a story. I’m also a wife and a mom. I have always passionately defended the hard-working guy I love—and I always will. I just may not use Twitter to do so in the future!”
Just a devoted wife trying to stick up for her man. I see no issue here.
