Oakland Athletics catcher Bruce Maxwell has been in the news lately after he became the first MLB player to kneel in protest during the national anthem this season.  And just this week he was allegedly refused service at a restaurant for his actions (allegations that have since been denied by the waiter and restaurant).

Now, Maxwell is making headlines again, this time after he was arrested on Saturday night for pointing a gun at a delivery woman.

Via TMZ:

Scottsdale PD tells us Maxwell, 26, was arrested Saturday at 6:08 PM at his Scottsdale, AZ home. Cops say the alleged victim was a female food delivery driver who told them Maxwell pointed a gun at her.

Maxwell was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. No word yet on what sparked the incident, but I’m sure we’ll have more info soon.
