Rangers Hold Moment Of Silence For Victims Of New York Terror Attack (Video)
Last month the Golden Knights held a moment of silence for the victims of the horrendous mass shooting in Las Vegas.
On Tuesday, sadly, they were part of another moment of silence honoring the victims of another act of terror. This time it was the New York Rangers who held a moment of silence in response to Tuesday’s terror attack in New York.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and families affected in the tragic events that took place in lower Manhattan this afternoon,” said the Madison Square Garden PA announcer. “At this time we ask that you please rise and remove your hats as we observe a moment of silence, and stand united in the face of those who threaten our freedom in New York, Las Vegas, and throughout the World.”

On Tuesday, a man named Sayfullo Saipov drove a truck onto a Manhattan bike path and crashed into a school bus, killing eight people and injuring 11 others. He was subsequently arrested, and police are investigating whether he had formal ties to known terrorist organizations.
