Warren Moon Says Kaepernick Ruined Any Chance of NFL Career When He Decided To Sue The League (VIDEO)
Warren Moon believes Colin Kaepernick basically dug his own grave and inserted whatever shot he had to get back in the league when he and his team of lawyers decided to file a grievance against league owners.
The former Houston Oilers QB sat down with TMZ and questioned whether the former San Francisco 49ers QB even wanted to play this season if he thought suing was a great idea.
“If he was gonna file a lawsuit, he maybe should’ve waited ’til this season was over if he did want to play this year,” Moon says, “because it was almost like, does he really wanna play if he’s gonna go and sue the league and then also try to get signed by a football team … the 2 just don’t seem to mix.”
Moon was also asked about the controversial ‘inmates’ comments from Houston Texans owner Bob McNair and he believes his comments were misunderstood.
“I think it was just a bad choice of words, and a bad analogy. If he could take those words back and maybe use some type of another analogy, I think he would.”
