The Golden State Warriors beat the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night, erasing a 47-point first quarter and a 24-point Sixers lead with a 47-point third quarter of their own en route to a rather eventful 124-116 victory.

After the game, Kevin Durant hilariously told reporters that he was glad the Warriors won the game, if for no other reason than not having to see Sixers Twitter MVP Joel Embiid talk trash on Twitter. What Durant didn’t realize, however, was that Embiid didn’t even need a W to talk trash about the Warriors.

On Sunday evening, the Sixers big man got on Twitter to share his thoughts about Saturday’s loss. And, naturally, he kicked things off with a reference to the Warriors blowing a 3-1 lead in the 2016 NBA Finals.

Take a look:

That is a perfect burn. It acknowledges that the Sixers choked, but it does so by reminding everyone that the Warriors have choked way harder.

Still, sensing maybe that Twitter was about to lose its sh*t, Embiid followed that tweet up with another making it clear that he has the utmost respect for the Warriors:

All in all, another social media W for Joel Embiid.
