Nobody Decided To Show Up For Texans QB Tom Savage’s Press Conference After Blowing Game (VIDEOS)
Houston Texans quarterback Tom Savage had a rough night against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday, and he responded by giving what might be the shortest post-game press conference of all time.
Savage’s troubles started in the fourth quarter with the Ravens clinging to a 20-16 lead. On a 1st and 10 on the Ravens 39, Savage was sacked by Terrell Suggs. The ball popped loose, the Ravens recovered, and then went on to kick a field goal to extend their lead to 23-16.
After the Ravens field goal, the Texans got the ball back. But just two plays later, a pass intended for C.J. Fiedorowicz was picked off by Baltimore’s Anthony Levine with just 2:22 left on the clock. And that was it. Game over.
That was hardly the worst QB performance we’ve seen this season. It wasn’t even the worst we’ve seen in the last three weeks. But it certainly wasn’t good. And after the game, Tom Savage was in no mood to talk about it.
Take a look:
That’s right. His two-word press conference lasted just three seconds. That’s got to be some kind of record.
In Savage’s defense, apparently there weren’t a lot of people there who wanted to hear what he had to say:
Tom Savage just walked in the interview room, it’s almost empty, no one asked a question, Savage said are we good and left. Crazy. @abc13houston

Better luck next week, Tom Savage.
