Chip Kelly Has Advice for Wannabe NFL Coaches: Watch the RedZone Channel
Chip Kelly enjoyed tremendous success coaching college football, elevating the Oregon Ducks into a national powerhouse. However, he did not succeed in the NFL.
Most experts agree that Kelly’s problem in the NFL—at least in Philadelphia, where he got a fair look—was that he had too much faith in his system and not enough faith in his stars, even when other teams started to figure his system out. And, of course, he also made some questionable personnel decisions.
Interestingly, Kelly has his own take on why he didn’t succeed.
Now that he is returning to college football to coach UCLA, somebody asked Kelly what he thinks is the biggest difference between college and pro football. In response, Kelly shared what he believes is the secret to NFL success: watch the RedZone channel.
More Chip on NFL: “If you wanna talk about how to study the game, just watch the Red Zone Channel, and you’re watching situational football at its finest.”

Thanks, Chip Kelly. Now there are 3 million people who watch the RedZone channel for four hours every Sunday who think they have what it takes to be NFL coaches.
