Joel Embiid & 76ers Co-Owner Michael Rubin Reportedly Visited Meek Mill in Prison
Joel Embiid is a man of the people and apparently rappers as well.
‘The Process’ and Philadelphia 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin reportedly paid incarcerated rapper Meek Mill a visit last Friday in jail and the surprise visit “really lifted Meek’s spirits,” according to TMZ Sports.
It was just earlier this month when the Philly born rapper was sentenced to two to four years in jail for violating probation from his 2008 drug and weapons case. There have been protests and outrage from various celebrities since the sentence was handed down.
