REPORT: Coach Ty Lue Believed Dwyane Wade Was The Locker Room Cancer on Cavs
Last Thursday, the Cavaliers shocked the sports world by completely overhauling their roster and trading away multiple players, most shocking of all being Isaiah Thomas—who had only played 15 games for the team before making his exit.
The second shocking move was trading LeBron’s best friend Dwyane Wade back to the team that drafted him, the Miami Heat. Reports surfaced throughout the weeks that the team’s struggles had a lot to do with players not liking each other or trusting each other when they got on the court, which resulted in blow-outs and huge leads squandered.
While many pointed to Isaiah Thomas calling out Kevin Love and making comments through the media, another reports suggests head coach Ty Lue thought Wade was the issue in the locker room.
The Cavs can sell the Wade trade to Miami as a goodwill measure to get him home, and maybe that’s part of it, but heard twice today Lue felt Wade was biggest issue in the locker room.
