Miami Dolphins Donate $100,000 To Stoneman Douglas Victims Fund
By now, you’ve seen the terrible images coming out of Parkland, Florida, where a former student brought a gun to Stoneman Douglas High School and fired on his former classmates, killing 17 and wounding dozens of others.
The Miami Dolphins wanted to do their part to help in anyway they can, so they donated $100,000 to the Stoneman Douglas victims’ fund set up by the Broward County Education Fund, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.
Quote from the Dolphins, who gave $100k to fund: “Our hope is to encourage people to make more donations.” https://t.co/arGsfjTsA0

The Dolphins’ two separate $50,000 donations pushed the fund over $1 million. The fund’s goal is $2 million.
