With the last season’s Super Bowl in the bag, we may be suffering from football fatigue, but naturally, the players are already looking forward to next season’s run.
One of those players is Devonta Freeman, running back for the Atlanta Falcons. He made his intentions for a title run known in an innocent enough tweet.
Super Bowl 53 we coming for that

Of course, players on other teams might not be willing to cede their stake in the big game just yet. Bucs QB Jameis Winston sure seems to feel that way. He let Freeman know that the only way he’ll be attending the game is with Jameis’ friends and family tickets when he’s in the game with his team.
You know I gotchu on the tickets family!

You have to love that response. The Falcons are likely still suffering from the barrage of 28-3 jokes they faced after dropping the previous year’s game, so this is just another drop in the bucket, albeit a very, very funny one. I guess since both players were FSU teammates, they can get away with some good-natured cracks.
Another FSU player, Jalen Ramsey, chimed in as well:
It’s gon be fun playing against one of y’all

We’ll see, fellas. We’ll see…
