Last weekend Tiger Woods proved that he might actually be back. Like, really back. And if you don’t believe it, just take a look at Vegas sportsbooks.

Woods is currently ranked 398th in the world after missing what feels like a decade due to a series of back injuries and surgeries. However, he looked sharp at the Honda Classic and wound up finishing a very respectable 12th. Tiger still has some kinks to work out, but this is the closest he’s been to a comeback in ages. And, as a result, he’s now one of the favorites to win The Masters next month.

Bovada currently has Tiger’s chances of winning his sixth green jacket at 16-1. Only six players have better odds than that. Dustin Johnson and Jordan Spieth sit at the top of the list at 7.5-to-1. They’re followed by Rory McIlroy at 10-to-1, Justin Thomas at 12-to-1, and Jason Day and Rickie Fowler at 14-to-1.

Of course, a lot can happen between now and April 5, when the 2018 Masters gets under way. While most of the top players in the world are in Mexico this weekend playing in the WGC Mexico Championship, Tiger is at home and has not yet committed to any further PGA events.

“I think that I need to go back in the gym again and start training,” Tiger told the Sporting News. “The body feels good. I just need to keep it feeling good. I’ll get back to the gym and keep it strong. I felt like I made a big leap this week. I really hit it well.”

Hopefully the 42-year-old golf legend doesn’t train too hard.
