How good is Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns? So good that he can stay up late playing video games the night before a game and still set a new franchise record for most points in a game.

Towns was part of a PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds streaming session with Philadelphia 76ers rookie Ben Simmons on Tuesday night. At one point Towns tried to log off, saying it was late and he had to get to bed because he had to work tomorrow. But Simmons, a bad influence, convinced him to stay while simultaneously dropping an absolutely devastating burn on the poor Atlanta Hawks.

Take a look:

The social media-savvy Hawks tried to laugh off that insult…

But in the end Simmonds was right. On Wednesday, despite staying up way too late playing video games, Karl-Anthony Towns scorched the Hawks, setting a Timberwolves franchise record with 56 points.

The Timberwolves and Ben Simmonds thought it was pretty hilarious.

We can only assume the Hawks were not amused.
