“If You Don’t Love Me At My Worst” Meme Is Taking Over Sports Twitter (TWEETS)

Most people have probably come across the saying, “if you can’t handle me at my worst, you don’t deserve me at my best.” No one really seems to know where it came from. Some have attributed it to Marilyn Monroe, but apparently she did not come up with it.

Regardless of who came up with the saying, in recent years social media has taken it and turned it into a meme with various iterations. And for whatever reason, this week the meme has taken a new, specific form in which people put a picture of something crappy on the left, along with the words “if you can’t handle me at my,” then they put something awesome on the right, along with the words “you don’t deserve me at my.”
