REPORT: NFL Is Set To Conclude That Derrius Guice Lied About Team Asking If He Likes Men
Last month, the NFL was once again going through a controversy after Derrius Guice claimed an unknown team in Indianapolis asked him if he liked men, while another team asked if his mom was a prostitute.
Those were some pretty damning claims that upset a bunch of people. It sparked a league investigation, during which the NFL had several conversations with the LSU running back.
The league has reportedly come to their conclusion and it doesn’t bode well for Guice at all.
“Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the league has found inconsistencies in Guice’s version of the events, and the league has been unable to corroborate his claims or to identify the team(s) that asked the questions.
While it’s unclear whether the league eventually will conclude that Guice was mistaken or lying, at least one team employee who has interacted with Guice was and still is convinced that Guice made it up.
It’s unclear when the investigation will be concluded, and whether any specifics will be released publicly. For now, however, it appears that the league will clear its various teams on this one.”
This investigation can be taken with a grain of salt as it’s a lot like when police investigate themselves to find out if they had been doing anything wrong.
