Santa Fe High School Pitcher Survived Shot To The Back of His Head In Friday’s School Shooting (VIDEO)

It was a scene all too familiar in America, as everybody woke up to yet another school shooting.

On Friday, a 17-year-old student walked into Sante Fe High School with a trench coat on and used a shotgun and a revolver to kill 10 people and wound 10 others. Among those 10 wounded was the star pitcher of the baseball team.

Rome Shubert, a sophomore right-hander who has committed to playing NCAA baseball at the nearby University of Houston, took to Twitter on Friday and stated he had survived the attack, even after taking a bullet to the back of his head.

Suspect Dimitrios Pagourtzis, 17, was taken into custody and charged with capital murder. He has since admitted he didn’t shoot people he liked and meant to kill the ones he did target.
