BREAKING: NFL Officially Passes Anthem Policy That Just Made Everything Even Worse
The NFL had two years to figure something out regarding the National Anthem controversy and they somehow still got it completely wrong.
The NFL’s mismanagement of the situation got worse as owners reportedly reached an agreement to allow individual players to stay in the locker room. However, any players that do come out must stand and salute the flag during the anthem.
Anthem resolution is likely to be announced this afternoon, and it is expected to allow players to stay in the locker room during anthem and fine teams for any flag/anthem disrespect, per league source.
