Reggie Bush Says Donald Trump Needs To ‘Stay In His Lane’ (VIDEO)
One day after the NFL unveiled its new National Anthem policy, Donald Trump told “FOX & Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade, “You have to stand proudly for the national anthem or you shouldn’t be playing. You shouldn’t be there … maybe you shouldn’t be in the country.”
That statement made a lot of people’s blood boil, including Reggie Bush.
The former NFL running back was leaving TAO Thursday night in Hollywood when a TMZ cameraman asked him for his thoughts on Trump’s comments in regards to the NFL’s new policy.
The former New Orleans Saints star stated Trump doesn’t know very much these days, but as the leader of the free world, he has more important things to deal with and he needs to stay in his lane.
According to the new policy, teams are subject to a fine if any player is out on the sidelines doing anything that is deemed “disrespectful” while the anthem is playing.
If they choose not to stand on the sidelines, they are welcome to stay in the locker room until it’s over.
