Report: Mexican National Soccer Team Hired 30 Prostitutes For Epic 24-Hour World Cup Sendoff Party
Mexican tabloids are reporting that some members of the Mexican National Soccer Team hired as many as 30 high-end prostitutes and threw themselves an epic World Cup sendoff party following last weekend’s tuneup against Scotland in Mexico City.
That’s a lot of prostitutes!
Mexican magazine TV Notas says the party took place in the upscale Mexico City neighborhood of Las Lomas. It started following El Tri’s 1-0 win over the Scotts at Stadio Azteca on Saturday and went on until 4pm on Sunday.
“They had the night off, without their wives and girlfriends,” an unidentified inside source told the tabloid. When asked why wives and girlfriends weren’t invited, the source replied, “Because they wanted to be a bit naughty. Why else would they have needed 30 escorts!”

Players alleged to have attended the wild sex party, according to TV Notas‘s source, include goalie Guillermo Ochoa, defender Carlos Salcedo, midfielder Marco Fabian, and former Tottenham player Giovanni dos Santos, who now plays for the LA Galaxy.
At this point it’s unclear how much truth there is to TV Notas‘s report. The whole thing could be completely bogus, or possibly just overblown.
That said, tons of other Mexican and South American media sources have picked up the story. And if it is true, it wouldn’t be the first time the Mexican national team has been rocked by a prostitution scandal. Eight players were kicked off the 2011 Copa America squad after reports surfaced that escorts had “visited” them in a team hotel.
