Philadelphia Eagles Give Super Bowl Ring To Ex-Secretary Fired by Chip Kelly (TWEET)
The Philadelphia Eagles are trying to keep the good times rolling.
Not many things went right during the Chip Kelly era, and the current team is trying to do everything they can to correct every bad deed that was done during that time.
On Thursday, the team unveiled their long awaited Super Bowl rings and one of those rings went straight to Carol Wilson.
Carol was a former secretary of the head coach who worked for the Eagles organization for 30 years. She was promptly fired by Chip Kelly in 2013 and hasn’t worked with the team for five years. That didn’t matter to the Eagles, though. The team appreciated her generosity and commitment to the organization and rewarded her handsomely.
So my aunt works for the eagles for three decades as the head coach’s secretary.
Chip Kelly fires her.
The Eagles win the super bowl.
I get the below text messages last night.
