United States Naval Academy Accuses Nike Of Trademark Infringement Over New Logo (Pics)

This week global sportswear giant Nike announced a new collaboration with Undefeated, a Los Angeles-based “lifestyle brand” and sneaker store. The collaboration is called “The Fives,” and while we have no idea what that is, the collab is supposed to drop on Saturday.

That’s a pretty cool logo. Unfortunately, the designers at Nike and Undefeated totally stole it from the United States Naval Academy.

Take a look:

Needless to say, the United States Naval Academy is not amused. They say they’re working with Navy brass to draft an official order to cease and desist.

Not sure how the Nike/Undefeated logo got through the various stages of approval, but you can bet somebody at Nike is going to lose their job over this.

In the meantime, if Navy wants to get back at Nike, their fans on Twitter have a pretty good suggestion…
