Just when Saudi Arabian soccer fans thought the World Cup couldn’t have started any worse for their team, the soccer gods were like, hold our beers!

On Thursday Saudi Arabia got humiliated 5-0 by Russia in the opening game of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Then on Monday the jet carrying the team to its next game caught on fire mid-flight.

The Saudi national team was en-route to Rostov-on-Don, where it will take on Uruguay on Wednesday, when one of the jet’s wings caught on fire and flames started shooting out of the ailerons. A statement from the airline, Rossiya, claimed that the problem was caused by a bird flying into the engine.

Video shot by one of the passengers is absolutely terrifying. Take a look:

Fortunately for everyone involved, the flight was able to land safely in Rostov-on-Don, and nobody was injured.

The Saudi Football Federation was incredibly chill about the incident.

The players didn’t look very upset, either.

Personally, if I was on a jet and flames started shooting out the wings, I’d be pretty shook. But good on them for remaining calm.
