There’s a very real chance that the Cleveland Cavaliers lose LeBron James this summer. Their only chance of keeping him around may be to stick some more superstars around him. And even if they do that and he still leaves The Land, I’m sure Dan Gilbert and company would like to have a star or two who can help them maintain respectability.

Whatever the case may be, the Cavs seem to have their sights set on acquiring Kawhi Leonard. And thanks to ESPN’s NBA insider Zach Lowe, we now know that they are offering the Spurs the No. 8 pick and Kevin Love for the 2014 Finals MVP’s services.

Obviously the Spurs aren’t impressed, otherwise they would have pulled the trigger by now.  According to Lowe, San Antonio has also been offered the No. 4 pick and Chandler Parsons from the Grizzlies, and the Nos. 12 and 13 picks and Tobias Harris from the Clippers.

For now, Kawhi remains a member of the Spurs. Stay tuned.
