REPORT: Dwight Howard & Brooklyn Nets Negotiating Buyout

Looks like Dwight Howard playing for the Brooklyn Nets won’t be happening after he was traded from the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday after just one year of play.

It was announced on Thursday that the veteran center and the Nets would be negotiating a buyout to let him hit free agency and sign with whomever wants him.

Last season, Howard averaged 16.6 points and 12.5 rebounds per game, but just like each of his previous stops in his career, the other players on the squad became increasingly turned off by him in the locker room.
