This MMA Knockout Is So Vicious It’ll Probably Give YOU A Concussion (VIDEO)

Women's MMA Knockout

The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation is the global governing body for amateur MMA. As such, it doesn’t have as much talent and star power as professional promotions. However, the IMMAF can still deliver some insane knockouts.

Just ask Swedish amateur Jessica Forslund Reis. She was on the receiving end of the most vicious kick-to-the-head in women’s MMA since Holly Holm broke Ronda Rousey back in 2016.

Reis took on Finland’s Jenni Kivioja at the IMMAF’s 2018 Senior European Championships in Bucharest over the weekend. With just 22 seconds left in the opening round, Kivioja landed a sharp kick that landed squarely on Reis’ chin and dropped the Swede like a sack of potatoes.

Ironcially enough, after hitting the matt, Reis just laid there with her legs together and her arms across her chest like she was ready to be loaded into a casket. The referee immediately turned her head to the side and removed her mouthpiece while the doctor came out to attend to her.

Take a look:

Jenni Kivioja would go on to win the silver medal in her weightclass. As for Jessica Forslund Reis, hopefully this knockout doesn’t do for her MMA career what Rousey’s knockout did for hers.
