Watch Jayson Tatum Make 18 Three-Pointers IN A ROW At Practice (VIDEO)
Jayson Tatum established himself as one of the NBA’s hottest young stars this spring. After averaging 13.9 points per game during the regular season, the Boston Celtics rookie put his team on his back and carried them to Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals, despite the absence of Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward. Tatum averaged 23.6 points per game against the Philadelphia 76ers, 17.9 points per game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, and 18.5 points per game overall in the postseason.
Now Tatum is doing everything he can to make sure he stays at that level. It’s not even July yet, but the 6’8″ 20-year-old small forward is already putting in full days at the gym. And at one point on Tuesday he hit 18 three-pointers in a row.
Take a look at this:

Obviously, hitting three-pointers in practice and hitting three-pointers in games are two very different things. But you don’t hit three-pointers in games without building up a lot of muscle memory. And right now I’d say Jayson Tatum’s muscle memory is pretty solid.
If the Celtics get Irving and Hayward back at full strength next year, the Eastern Conference had better watch out.
