LeSean McCoy Hires Ray Lewis & Ben Roethlisberger’s Former Lawyer Amid Accusations
LeSean McCoy’s life and career are at a stake after a friend of his ex-girlfriend, Delicia Cordon, took to Instagram and blasted him for assaulting her, their child and pet dog in the past.
The Buffalo Bills running back plans to fight back and it started with him reportedly hiring a prominent Atlanta area lawyer Wednesday, some 24 hours after he was accused of attacking his ex and then later accused of orchestrating a robbery that lead to the attack.
Atlanta-based defense attorney Don Samuel is set to represent McCoy, most famous for representing Hall of Fame linebacker Ray Lewis in a double-homicide case in 2000 and serving on the legal team for Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in 2010 when he was investigated for sexual assault, a source told Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports.
The attorney is known for mounting an “aggressive on-the-ground investigation” and for “shaping the narrative for public consumption,” according to Robinson.
Don Samuel has 34 years of experience.
